Julio Rodríguez’s girlfriend, Jordyn Huitema, and Dansby Swanson’s wife, Mallory Swanson, are on their way to the Paris Olympics. They both made the Olympic soccer team for their country. Huitema plays for Team Canada and Swanson plays for Team USA.

The two began publicly dating in October of 2022. Huitema plays soccer for Seattle Reign FC as well as the Canada national team, and Rodríguez plays baseball for the Seattle Mariners. Jordyn Huitema is making her second Olympics appearance in Paris at 24 years old. She first played in the Olympics at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. During those games, she scored seven goals. From that, she earned the tournament’s Golden Boot Award.

Before Jordyn Huitema joined the Seattle Reign she was a part of two professional soccer leagues. She got signed in 2018 to play for the TSS FC Rovers, a Canadian soccer team. Then from 2019 to 2022, she played for Paris Saint-Germain FC.
Dansby Swanson and Mallory Swanson

The couple has been married since December of 2022. Before that, they had been dating for five years. Dansby Swanson plays baseball for the Chicago Cubs and Mallory Swanson plays soccer for the Chicago Red Stars as well as the USA team. Mallory Swanson’s first time playing in the Olympics was in 2016 in Rio. This will be her second Olympic appearance.

Mallory Swanson started playing professional soccer in 2017 for the Washington Spirit and stayed with them until 2019. In 2020 she went to play for NJ/NY Gotham FC (at the time known as Sky Blue FC). Swanson only played there for one season and then went to the Red Stars where she still currently plays. Swanson started to play for the US national team in 2016, but before that, she played for the U17 team and the U20 team beginning in 2013.
