The cinematic event of the summer is almost here. And, no, I’m not talking about Deadpool and Wolverine or Twisters. I mean Aaron Judge’s featured episode in a PAW Patrol spin-off: “Rubble & Crew.”

The episode is titled “The Crew Builds a Ballpark.” Judge is set to compete in a home run derby, but a traffic jam gets in his way. Since he can’t leave Builder Cove, he needs the help of Rubble and his crew to build a ballpark. Together, Judge and the crew will create their own stadium to host a home run derby

With the episode about two weeks out, we’ve got plenty of time to get acquainted with Builder Cove—where the PAW Patrol dogs live. For those unfamiliar, here’s your time to take some important notes. The title character of the spin-off series, “Rubble & Crew,” is a male English bulldog puppy named Rubble. Rubble made his TV debut in PAW Patrol in August 2013. Since then, the show has created eleven original seasons, Rubble’s show, and movies.

Rubble has come a long way since 2013, and now hosts celebrity guests. According to insiders with MLB, Judge is “Rubble's favorite baseball player,” which we’ll find out on the show.

But Judge himself isn’t the only guest on this episode. Both of Judge’s dogs, Penny and Gus, will make appearances—Samantha Judge will voice Penny. Penny and Gus are both dachshunds, with Gus, the younger, being adopted in 2023.

Both dogs have short TV histories to catch up on. Neither dog has had a proper on-screen debut before, but Penny has done some advertising. In 2022, Judge partnered with Waiakea, a beverage company. He posted on his Instagram that Penny accepted the sponsorship. He wrote, “Penny and I are excited to join the team!”

Gus, on the other hand, hasn’t accepted any partnerships or done advertising. When he was adopted, he made an appearance at Yankee Stadium on the YES network pre-game show. Gus was shown running around the outfield grass alongside Judge. Michael Kay told Paul O’Neil on the broadcast, “Now that’s just all-time cute right there.”

“As a proud dog dad, it was a blast to join Rubble and his friends in this adventure,” Judge told MLB reporters in March. “Through my foundation work, I understand the importance of reaching kids and teaching them the importance of teamwork. It was so fun to combine two things I’m passionate about—dogs and baseball—to deliver this valuable message.”

As a passionate dog dad, Judge makes the perfect fit for this guest appearance.“The Crew Builds a Ballpark” will air on Nickelodeon at 11 a.m. ET/PT on Monday, August 26 through Thursday, and at 5 p.m. ET/PT on Nick Jr.
