Since Part One got so much love, we’re back to take a look at some other NFL teams that had a song-worthy season. Whether the season is better suited for a ballad or one of those EDM tracks that brings my heart rate to at least 150 bpm, these teams deserve a soundtrack to illustrate their 2024-25 season.
Kansas City Chiefs: “Stayin’ Alive” by Bee Gees

Fun fact: the song Stayin’ Alive has the perfect BPM when performing CPR! This is very important information for the Kansas City fans having heart palpitations after the team's nightmarish Super Bowl performance. There's nothing like the sting of a tough loss, but Kansas City still has one of the most talent-filled rosters in the NFL. Yeah, they had a few lucky bounces and a favorable call here and there; the truth is, they got there by winning games. The pulse of the fan base is still beating like a drum, and Chiefs fans are trying their best to shake off this loss and get ready for another season.
Cincinnati Bengals: “Sorry” by Justin Bieber

The Bengals team owes Joe Burrow and Bengals fans a big apology, so there's no better song for them than this apologetic anthem. The O-Line left him out there like he was “one less lonely girl” and let him get sacked 48 times this season. That’s not exactly protecting someone as beautiful—oh, and talented—as Burrow. Burrow and Ja'marr Chase tried to keep the team in harmony, but the rest of the squad had a hard time hitting the right note. If they don’t get their act together, it might be “too late now to say sorry” and Burrow could just pull a Harry Styles and go solo...or start a new band.
Philadelphia Eagles: “Walk This Way” by Aerosmith

The Eagles strutted their way all the way to a Super Bowl ring this season and left a trail of the other teams’ tears behind them. Their hike to victory made the other teams look like babies learning to walk for the first time. After coming up just short the year before, they stomped on the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. They made the Chiefs look like the drunk uncle at a family reunion—stumbling around the field. With a final score of 40-22, the Eagles rocked the field all season long, just like Aerosmith did in this song.
Chicago Bears: “Fix You” by Coldplay

The Bears have been stuck in an endless loop of rebuilding for the past couple of seasons, and despite their efforts to “fix” what's broken, they finished this season at the bottom of the NFC North. They have potential, but it’s like putting together a puzzle bought at a yard sale (there are a few pieces missing.) The lights may not be guiding them home, but maybe their whippersnapper quarterback Justin Fields can bolster the group to a winning season next time around. For the sake of the fans, the team needs to Bear down and grab a hammer because it's about time they get to fixing.
New York Jets: “Need You Now” by Lady A

After a heartbreaking season last year, the Jets were hoping with Aaron Rodgers healthy this season, they’d get back in the mix… but they were wrong. They finished third in the AFC East with a record of 5-12 (but they were still in front of the Patriots, so that's gotta count for something right?) The Jets’ defense was solid this season, but the team struggled to generate offense. The team was about as cohesive as a giraffe trying to rollerskate, leaving Jets fans questioning their new legendary quarterback. The fans are looking at QBs like Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes saying “I need you now,” but for now, they'll just have to work together and hopefully get a winning season next year.
