Special Games:

Like always, this season has started off with a couple of special games. The Duke’s Mayo Classic is an annual college football game that is played on the opening weekend of the season. It is played in Bank of America Stadium, which is home of the Carolina Panthers.

The FCS Kickoff is the annual game played the Saturday before opening weekend and it showcases teams from the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision. Since 2017, this game has been played at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama. The Cramton Bowl originally opened in 1922 as a baseball stadium and was home to MLB spring training and minor league baseball, though now it is primarily used for football.

The Orange Blossom Classic is an annual game that celebrates Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The game was founded back in 1933 by the son of the Florida A&M University’s president.

Upcoming:

We are getting ready to go into Week 3 of the CFB Season this Saturday, September 14. There are multiple games going on of course. Some of these games include:

  • Oklahoma State Cowboys vs Tulsa Golden Hurricane

  • Alabama Crimson Tide vs Wisconsin Badgers

  • Boston Eagles vs Mizzou Tigers

  • Arkansas State Red Wolves vs Michigan Wolverines

  • LSU Tigers vs South Carolina Gamecocks

  • Ball State Cardinals vs Miami Hurricanes

As the first couple of weeks of the CFB season wrap up, it’s obvious that this is going to be an interesting season. I have some predictions of my own, and I can’t wait to see what this season holds in the upcoming weeks.
