Filled with awkward driver moments, nearly identical car liveries to last season, and an interesting performance lineup, F1 75 Live officially kicked off the 2025 Formula 1 season. This is the first time Formula 1 has hosted an event with all ten teams showcasing their cars for the season. The much anticipated F1 75 Live took place last week, and today we highlight some of the best moments from the event.
Lewis Hamilton in Ferrari Red

The moment everyone has been waiting for, Hamilton’s debut with Ferrari. Lewis was the man of the night, having the London crowd on their feet. Hamilton spoke about how he felt going into the new season on stage, saying, “I think the word that I’m thinking of is invigorated, cause I feel so full of life and so much energy because everything is new.” This was a promising response for fans, giving them hope of a reenergized Lewis Hamilton who is ready to get back in the fight for the world championship.
Jack Whitehall Getting Lost in Charles Leclerc’s Eyes

As far as hosts go, Jack Whitehall did a fantastic job roasting the entire paddock, with the running joke of the night being Jack Whitehall’s attraction to Charles Leclerc. When Jack Whitehall was deep in conversation with Laura Winter about the 2025 season, his eyes wandered to a certain someone behind her, saying to Charles, “You can’t look at me; honestly, just look somewhere else.”
How Little Verstappen Wanted to be at The Event

After the announcement of the event, the one driver who voiced his displeasure with spend his time at another F1 PR event was current world champion Max Verstappen. Max jokingly made the comment, “I hope I’m sick that week.” Naturally, the first joke of the night centered on how he did not want to be there.
George and Max Beef Mention
Last season ended with a bit of beef between the defending world champion Max Verstappen and Mercedes driver George Russell. Jack Whitehall decided to have a bit of fun with the two drivers in his opening monologue. First Jack told Max to “cheer up,” joking that it could have been worse and he could have been sat next to George. He then proceeded to ask Max if the two had “kissed and made up yet.” The jokes were all in good fun, and the two drivers appeared to have been amused by the whole situation.
Fred Vasseur wears McLaren Bucket Hat Backstage
In a bit of cheeky backstage fun, Ferrari Team Principal Fred Vasseur put on a McLaren bucket hat and posed for a picture with McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown. The pair may be rivals on track, but off track these two seem to have a good relationship.
Gordon Ramsay Speaks on the FIA Swearing Ban

Gordon Ramsay, a man known for his foul language on cooking shows all over the world, was present at last week’s event. When asked by Jack Whitehall his thoughts on the pending swearing ban, he made his thoughts clear in support of the drivers. "Listen, I think it's an industry language. The fact that these athletes are pushing themselves to the extreme. So sometimes if it comes out, let them be real. Let it go, come on! They're risking their life every time. They're traveling over 200 miles an hour. So if the sh—." Whitehall took the mic from him before he could finish his sentence.
Jack Whitehall Trolls the F1 Launch Event
“A grand reveal of all the F1 team’s new liveries – I say new; it turns out most of them haven’t actually changed.” We loved the event, but even the host enjoyed poking fun at the fact that most of the liveries revealed were basically the exact same as last season.
Jack Whitehall’s Obsession with King James Vowles

Apparently Jack Whitehall is the biggest James Vowles fan. The comedian loved bringing up his love for the Williams Team Principal, and we couldn’t be happier for him. In his monologue, Whitehall said, “On the subject of debonair F1 sex symbols, where is my favourite team principal James Vowles? I love James Vowles; have we got any other Vowels heads in the house?” This prompted a loud cheer from the crowd. We love seeing James get the recognition he deserves on F1’s biggest stage.

Overall, it was a fantastic night for the drivers and teams to come together to celebrate the upcoming season. The season launch exceeded my expectations, and I am even more excited now for the 2025 season to kick off this March.
