With Spring Training in full swing, it’s time to get ready for our favorite players to hit the field for regular season action soon. A new season means new storylines and new teams taking over the league.
This time of the year is also a great time for new fans to figure out what team they will give their loyalty to this season. If you’re not quite sure which stadium you will be heading to with your friends this summer, your favorite game day drink can help determine that for you!
Celsius - New York Mets
If your go-to drink before a game is a Celsius, then you should be rooting for the Mets this season. Before Juan Soto signed his contract this offseason, he shared an Instagram clip teasing a major announcement. While fans of many teams tuned in to see if it was his official signing announcement, it was instead an announcement telling fans he is now a brand ambassador for Celsius.
If you find yourself cracking a can of Celsius before a long day, then the Mets are the perfect team for you. Their energy carried them all the way to the National League Championship Series last year, and with that energy again this year, they can make it even further.

Alani Nu - San Diego Padres
If you enjoy an Alani Nu before game day, then you should root for the Padres this MLB season. Much like Celsius, Alani Nu’s are for anyone who is bright and full of energy. With quite a few star players and some developing younger players, the Padres have a bright future.
Stacked up against the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Padres might have a tough time winning their division. If they continue their hot streak from last season, however, they might have a chance to make some noise this season.

Prime - Cleveland Guardians
If you find yourself reaching for a Prime on gameday, then you should root for the Guardians. Prime was founded by Logan Paul, who is from Ohio like the Guardians.
For anyone who isn’t up for the caffeine rush of a normal energy drink, they have a separate kind of Prime that acts as more of an electrolyte drink. The Guardians were one of the most refreshing teams in MLB last year, earning them this drink.

Coffee - New York Yankees
If you prefer coffee before game day, then the Yankees are the team for you. When you think of the most traditional game day drink, coffee is the first thing that comes to mind. The Yankees are one of the most traditional and storied franchises in MLB, standing the test of time.
If you don’t want to branch out too much when making your decision, you’ll fit right in wherever you are. No matter your destination, you can usually see Yankees merch as you're walking around.

Chai Latte - Philadelphia Phillies
If a chai latte is your go-to drink, then you should root for the Phillies this season. Chai lattes are definitely similar to coffee, but they can be a bit more fun.
The Phillies are also a team that spends big to bring in stars, but they’re a little less traditional than the Yankees. While the New York team might hold back to keep certain traditions alive, you can typically see the Phillies players having the time of their lives behind the scenes, and interacting with their mascot, the Phanatic.

Refresher - Baltimore Orioles
If you enjoy a refresher before your game day festivities, then you should root for the Orioles. Whether you head to Dunkin’ or Starbucks to get your refreshers, you usually see an abundance of teenagers holding their drink of choice. While their pallets might not enjoy coffee yet, they can still appreciate a sweet caffeinated drink.
The Orioles are one of the youngest teams in MLB, and have some of the youngest stars who are only going to improve. They can be sweet, but they pack a punch when necessary.

Matcha - Los Angeles Dodgers
If a matcha is your go-to drink before game day, then you should root for the Dodgers. Matcha is definitely the most expensive and fancy pregame drink you can order. It can also be hard to replicate matcha if you don’t have the right ingredients at home.
The Dodgers roster is certainly expensive, being that they have one of the highest payrolls in the league. What they are currently doing is something that would be extremely hard to replicate, and can’t be done without the correct players.
