Fresh off of an MVP season, Shohei Ohtani announced some exciting news on his Instagram. On December 28, Ohtani announced that he and his wife Mamiko were expecting a baby girl. Ohtani captioned the post, “Can’t wait for the little rookie to join our family soon!” The picture also featured Ohtani’s dog, Decoy, who has become a legend in his own right since he was introduced to the internet.

After a great season, Bobby Witt Jr. had something else to celebrate. Witt married his high school sweetheart, Maggie Black, on December 14 in Dallas, Texas. The wedding, although beautiful, went viral for their choice of food rather than their aesthetics. The couple chose to include the burger chain Whataburger in their special plans, and rebranded it as “Wittaburger.” The most iconic part about this, is the fact that the bride and groom used to hang out at the chain while dating in high school.

With the caption, “my husband, doing literally everything possible… except staying inside,” it’s clear that she was not expecting these events, especially with the snow on the ground in the video.

For Three Kings Day, a very special occasion in Central and South American countries, Julio Rodríguez returned to the Dominican Republic. During his time in his home country, Rodríguez spent time giving back to the community, with toy drives and equipment donations.
